I'm a bagless fan, way easier to get stuff back if you have to. I can appreciate a washable filter too, pretty much every filter becomes washable here though. ;)
Right? If I had enough $$ to buy a dyson I'd probably use it to buy shirts that fit. Even the next higher models are under $100 & have really good reviews if you're interested. I much prefer the bagless versions AND this one has a washable filter so you don't have to buy replacements. You just rinse it off & dry. My old one had a filter I had to change & I hated buying them so I'd just a butter knife to dig the dust out of the grooves.

Ohhhh.. I thought you meant instant death. Is it kind of like the thinner air at higher elevations thing? That'd be a great way to exterminate w/o chemicals though. I wonder if it would kill fleas.

My old vacuum was really old, like 8 years. There was loads of advancements since then.
& I managed to vacuum up a quarter in my 2nd use of the new one. Had no idea, I did hear a clunk, just though it was cereal under the couch and I have kids so we have that.

I have a 25+ year old Kirby. I had to take it apart last week because the on/off button wasn't working right. Thanks to Youtube, a nice gentleman directed me on what to do, and it's working again. It had some crud stuck on a piece inside that was causing another piece to not move correctly. Yippee, I can vacuum again.
