Sweet!
I should have kept reading.
Thanks!

Good morning everybody!

Anansi, thanks for breakfast. :) :drool

I have two tiny little pips as of 9:00AM today!! :jumpy They are so little, if you blink you might miss them. But they are pips. No rock n rolling as of yet.

My broody Cemani was taking too much time off the nest (like, a couple hours) and it was COLD (as in snow) here yesterday. I touched those eggs, they were cold! So I took WVD's advice and put two in the bator (I let them come to room temperature, first). There was nothing going on yesterday in my bator at all, I only opened it for a second and have been keeping my humidity around 68/69. So, we'll see.

I'm not very hopeful about the remaining 5 broody eggs, but--like I said this is more like a science experiment as it is my first time, and I picked Seramas. So if I get *any* chicks I will be thrilled! WVDs eggs were wonderfully fertile and active little buggers! So I've got that going for me. :)

I'll update as things progress....very excited!

I'm a dork....I was laying next to my 'bator staring at my non-moving eggs, and peeping at them.
We need a video of you peeping at them!
Please!

Hahahaha, no way man! Actually, I have an old-school flip phone, so I can barely take pictures, let alone do a video....takes about 25 tried to do a selfie where my face is even in it, lol!

You are no fun!
I love videos.
Especially videos where people talk in them...even if they don't show their face.
It's fun to hear the voice behind all the words we type on here.

I am waaaaayyy behind too.

Lots going on and with 2 puppies its crazy busy here.

I turned the 24 birds loose in the yard yesterday and now have even more work fixing the holes they dug.

The ladies are doing well laying between 16 and 20 eggs a day now.
:yesss:

Um, that egg turns white again once its dry...what!? Marlene is magical, first she gives me conehead egg yolks, and now I've got color change eggs. If at any point in my life I ever own anything normal its all about to end, y'all can bet money on that.:)
I've had that happen before. Not sure why it happens. Mine haven't been totally white, but look normal and brown when wet, but when dry they become lighter and lose their speckles.

I have enough on my plate. Many of my projects will likely be cancelled if i have breast cancer as i suspect. But thanks for offering!
I really hope it's not that. I skipped a lot over the weekend, did you get an appt for your biopsy yet?

I have read this after all and it’s pretty much what I did. I didn’t use a stick I used the bottom of my shoe. I went back a few times after and went straight at him and he wanted none of it. I’ll remind him again tomorrow. Don’t get me wrong he is a good protector and good with his two girls and the chicks. He stands in front of the girls when cats come around. He doesn’t crow when I’m in the run he just pecks at the ground until i turn. I’ll see tomorrow scrappy little guy is one of my favorites but he needs to learn.
I tried the shoe thing, but now he hates feet. But, like I said before, my nephew would mess with him and it's caused issues. The stick works well b/c it's an extension of your harm.. stopping him before he gets to you. We actually used drive way markers, but haven't needed them for a while.

I was thinking almonds.
I am going to do like Smuv says and ask google now.
Daiya makes vegan cream cheese. I can't say if it tastes the same or not b/c we've never tried it.

Good afternoon! Tucks is semi broody broken, no running to the nest, normal clucking but still puffy and a little bit mean but I'll take it. Got woken up at 4 am by dumb sister in law calling to tell me she broke her leg falling down the stairs....um ok? Guess that two story house wasn't such a good idea especially since she drinks like a depressed pirate. She's fine though, out of commission for a while but she'll live. I however am about to fake a coma just to get a full nights sleep. :)
