Official Squatch Watchers

I think the Mex would have filed for divorce if I tried to make him eat that.
I probably would have passed out in the kitchen if I cracked it into a pan.

btw..this is what I bought them for:
Taste Test: eggs from different fowl, participation encouraged

I would have had to bow out as well.

From when I had ducks and chickens I found I liked to bake with the duck eggs more than to pan fry.

The duck eggs DO have a richer flavor and taste good. They are just to big to me. They make cakes VERY fluffy.

Hatch them!!
You know you want to........

Oh trust me, mouthing, nipping, mouth play is NOT allowed. That doesn't mean they won't still try it every now and then.

Tons of toys here of course.

Here it is a firm "NO BITE!" command. Command not suggestion. Continued attempts result in the dreaded squirt gunning.
I’m going with the loud high pitched “ouch” as a shocker, then letting him have my hand again until he gets the idea that soft mouthing is okay, but biting hard is a no go.
Eventually I’ll fade in the command “get something fluffy!”

My old guy is a (now retired) therapy dog.
This method of learned bite inhibition and something else to chew on ( in the crate or at my feet) followed by a soft substitution down the road worked well with his positive training and retriever instincts. I’m hoping for a repeat with this guy.

Lol! I'm waiting for babies to happen and Kiki's trying to eat some. :lau Update, took a nap Early has a big hole now so definitely shouldn't be long but its derps so might be Christmas too. Cracker has finally pipped normally, I don't know why since she/he is basically sitting in a jigsaw puzzle. Number three is just chillin, don't know if its ok or just trying to be the one egg on time? It was fine when I locked it down, thats all I know. Can't really pop the top to find out anything right this moment.
