Having said that, we HAVE killed 2 opossums that had been attacking our chickens. That WAS our first and only choice.

1. We have no forest rangers or wildlife personnel to come get them.

2. We can't relocate them, as they would become a nuisance to other property owners.

3. The OP is talking about A CAT... it can be caught and turned in to the humane society. To me, the OP sounded like they just needed a BYCers *approval* to do what the hell they wanted to do in the first place, which was kill the cat.

I replied to the thread. If they kill that cat another or something else will take it's place. It has been proven that trap, neuter, return works on feral cat colonies. I understand not wanting to spend the money on what in the end is a wild animal but we have a program here that costs $25. You bring it in, they fix it, give it basic shots and you release it.
Seems cheaper then replacing lost chickens and possible other repercussions if caught. Also stops more and more cats from showing up and increasing the population.

I am terribly tempted to go back to the thread and go off on the OP... cause he makes a joke about how he uses the pelts to make a hat!!! :mad::mad::mad: Reread posts 4 and 19.

People are sick. The last guy to respond should be turned in to local authorities. Says he takes out cats all the time and knows which house they come from. :barnie

Someone has their panties in a bunch over being called out. LOL
He clearly states if he sees a cat he tells his dogs it's out there. I would say that is sicking your dog on an animal.

There is no winning with some people. They will get theirs in the end. SMH
