Turns out, the chick that looked like it had splayed legs last night only needed a shoe on the left foot. I used painters tape with a bandaid stuck to the bottom for traction.

The chick has been dubbed Boot. Boot is a LF Dark Cornish.

Can we vote to change it's name to Little Foot?

I need to take my majestic beast, Jasmine, to the vet this evening. The other day my mom said it looked like she was peeing blood. I'm hoping it's nothing. From what I saw it didn't look like she was 'peeing blood' but there was something bloody in the litter box. She's very elderly (17), so it's possible it's something.. but they also have 2 other cats and it could have been one of them. My tiny human wanted to go but I told her in 'in case'... she understands, but she's upset b/c she wants to be able to say goodbye if it comes to that, but also knows she shouldn't go. Being the adult sucks b/c you have to make these kinds of decisions.

Oh no nonononono NO! I used to babysit a kid that had ALL the land before time movies. We had to watch them over, and over, and over, overandoverandover
I am having nightmarish flashbacks just hearing the name!

Times like that are hard having to be the one to decide.

I hope its something fixable with meds.
