Official Squatch Watchers

I'm glad he improved without it getting to the point of surgery, those crystals are way harder on boys than girls. It can get to the point where it stops a boy completely up and they have to turn his hose into a teacup.
My giant moose kitty had the bladder crystal problem. He wasn’t feeling well and suddenly he lay down and peed all over the floor. Just lay in it crying. Got him to the vet and they found the crystals. He wasn’t peeing blood but was in terrible pain.
Got him a water fountain and haven’t had a problem since. Vet said make sure he drinks lots of water. Basically makes him pee so much crystals can’t form.

He was still young. He peed himself because he refused to go until his bladder was ready to burst. It hurt to bad. He's been fine since except his pee smells terrible. I don't have to worry about critters getting into my garbage. One clump of peed cat litter from him is an ammonia bomb in the garbage.

the boys cam completely plugg up and die from it...

@apryl29 Yeah, that all sounds very familiar. Same issue here with the gravy food just the gravy gets gone. I've gotten to the point with kitty where I just give her a tiny bit of food at a time wet or dry because if I don't she'll just wolf it all down and ralph. Got suckered into the little cans too although kitty's drug of choice is fancy feast . Old cats are demanding taters but I probably will be too at her age if I even remember to eat by then.:)
We have 2 other cats that are used to free feeding so we can't keep her from the dry stuff, but it's kept down stairs where she doesn't go b/c our cat Casey fights w/ her b/c that's HER space. Jasmine doesn't puke up the canned stuff, normally, but the past several times I took her to the vet she has.

We have a large dish that's out and she'll just sit by it. She was super dehydrated before, but yesterday she wasn't so I wouldn't be surprised if that might be the problem.. it hurts so she stops drinking so she doesn't have to pee.. like kids.

Hey guys!!! Sorry it's been so long since I've posted. Spring break's this week!!! I have tons of work to do. I've been trying to stay caught up, but ended up skipping the last 17 pages.

So, chick fever has hit us...

Earlier this afternoon, my family had a few free hours, so we decided to go to a local farm store... They had dark brahmas... Which is the type my mom really wants...

So at around 7:30 tomorrow, we will be buying two baby dark brahma chicks. I'll be snuggling with them on the 11 hour ride to keep them warm, giving them water using a nalgene lid from a designated nalgene, and hand feeding them medicated starter we just bought.

We are officially crazy chicken people.

Right now we're in Pigeon forge. Went to Dollywood yesterday. It was awesome. People are so NICE in Tennessee.

This is Gretchen at about 12 weeks. I like the penciling of the feathers.
