Official Squatch Watchers

That is seriously awesome... however.... reeeeeally before you count #10 egg out, did you do a deep frisk on Bubbles? As previously stated, eggs and even baby chicks have gotten *lost* in mamas coat. Unless, of course, you've seen some sign of an egg that broke.... like a scrap of shell or a sticky area where the white/yolk coulda dried.

Well, my loverly friends, it is with great sadness that I have to pass this information on to you. I hope you won't take it too hard... or be too sad..... although I know I am in great pain and very depressed about this....

So, here it goes....... plastic surgery doctor's nurse called and told me I was wearing the wrong size bra..... I'm not a 42G... I'm a 42J !!!!! 3 SIZES BIGGER THAN I THOUGHT!! So, this proves that they're still growing.....hayZEUS!!!

I couldn't believe it. No friggen way right?!? How can I be a J and STILL not qualify for reduction surgery?!? We ordered a bra in the 42J size and it arrived today. I put it on, adjusted the straps..... and nearly burst into tears cause the tatering thing friggen fit. :hit:he:hit:he:hit:he:hit:he

Yeah, mine grew more as time went by. I am so sorry they are giving you a hard time. Maybe you can find a way to save money for your procedure. Or get new insurance. Totally unfair of them. Make sure every time you go to the doctor you complain of back pain. Get it in your medical record. That is what i did. Of course it was hurting my back, they were just too darned big!

My new to me bator appears to be working since i cleaned it out, let it dry and plugged it in. If the temp holds i will be setting more guinea eggs in the morning. After all, 30 plus 48 is only 78, right?
Crap, i plugged it in and it went up to 126°F! The guy that borrowed it from them must have messed with it before he gave it back. What a jerk!

I think my bator had a heat spike at some point, cause all the little eggies that were developing and having a grand old time... well, I think all but 1 OR possibly 2 have quit. You can see where they ALL were developing... and well... then we candled yesterday and today and they were all loose looking... if you shook them gently it looked like swishing around half set Jello. ugh.

Definitely not gonna give up yet. We tossed all but 2... although I'm kinda sure the 2nd one is also a quitter... one we saw a lot of movement in and it's solid and veiny and doing what a good little trooper should be doing. Might have to get a chickie somewhere to keep it company. I don't want any lone chicks!

Calling all my Squatchy fashionistas.. and the hippie chicks too.......

I have been on the hunt FOR YEARS for a certain type of blouse. It's the type I wore as a piece of my wedding ensemble, with a matching skirt. A mix of THIS, THIS and THIS is pretty close, but not quite. Mine was a lot more billowy, flowy type of very light material... linen I believe..... and if I can just find a NAME of the type of shirt, I am sure my search would be so much easier. I have tried searching for:

Boho
Hippie
Peasant
Tunic
Poet
Gypsy
Renaissance
Baroque
Mystic
Wiccan
Medieval

Nothing pulls up what I'm looking for...... please don't let me throw a tantrum.... cause I feel one brewin!!!!

:hugs to everyone who needs one.

PS. Sent us all to a breakfast buffet to let @Anansi off the breakfast hook for one day.

Thank you guys! Squatchers always come through :love
Bubbles is in a coop by herself, I checked under her wings, and there is no sign of any predator intrusion. I never considered that she might have eaten it! What a clever girl; cleaning up the mess to keep her nest tidy and the other eggs clean and safe :love I have never dealt with a broody before but so far Bubbles has done an amazing job. I am in awe. She sits on that nest tighter than a barnacle—only comes off once a day. Lovingly turns and tucks in her eggs. And (lucky me) she doesn't bite! Just fluffs and growls.

Annnndddd it looks like all her hard work is paying off! ALL of the remaining 9 eggs have wiggly little babies in them :love:love:love
I'm gonna try to get some good pictures next time I candle. I am so excited!!!
:fl things continue to go well!
Good luck! I hope you get all 9 of your babies.

Good luck, but don't be counting your guineas before they hatch.

Holy wow! How long ago was it that you were sized for the G? That might give you and idea of how often to recheck/ go up a size. Does your back feel better w/ the better fitting bra? I'd still call the ins co and talk to someone about the rejection. Ask for specific info on why it was rejected and the qualifications of the person who made the decision, etc. Basically badger them.. ask them what you're supposed to do. Tell them it's like you have 2 watermelons strapped to your chest. You can't function, back pain, etc. I always get the feeling that it's men who reject these type of things b/c they like big boobs and don't want women getting reductions. Of course, I could be wrong.

Good thing you checked it! Does it have a dial for the temp or is it digital?

Ok, bear with me b/c you're going to see a ton of camo with this search, but look up woodland blouse and see if any of the non camo options are what you're looking for. If I google I have a tab at the top to select formal or woman which gets rid of most of the camo stuff..
