Official Squatch Watchers

I just want to say I’ve missed you guys but I’m having trouble bouncing back. I can’t tell you how much I am grieving over the loss of my kitty.
I forced myself to celebrate Jonah’s 11 th birthday on the 19th as I always have complete with party hat and a present and some homemade “dog icecream”.
Cooper was invited (of course) and actually didn’t mind wearing a party hat for about two minutes.

Hugs to you all.
Stacey

Ugh... today has been a tough day.

I need to lay in bed and cry.... with ice cream.

If I lived close I’d come climb in with you.
Heck I’d bring the ice cream.
And maybe pie.
And cookies.
Chips and dip. And a coke slurpee.
Also I have a lot of Kleenex.

I’m sorry about what’s going on with your bird purchase.
It sounds awful.
And yes the seller is being a giant a$$ a holy.

Been a big day here.

Got confirmed coccidiosis. No other birds looking off at all. Going to complete a full round of the corid.

New roof went on today. NOT HAPPY!
LOTS OF BUCKLED SHINGLES.
Then I find out this is a brand new crew and no one checking up on them.
They also tore off the shingles on my workshop. Not part of the work order. In fact it said do not replace for that.
Well that's on them now. Already called the company and two inspectors are coming tomorrow.

My sweetest of Sweet Squatchers. My heart is so very sad for you all. I keep hoping and sending out good thoughts and vibes to everyone, in hopes that things will upswing for you all. My biggest worries right now are WHY I can't lose weight (even though I count every friggen calorie that goes into my maw) and wondering how tall the duckies enclosure fencing needs to be.

I wish I could toss the PIC into Fizzgig (that's what we named the *new* Kia) and drive to everyone's house, gather everyone up, get everyone footie pajamas and whatever snacks they want, then climb into the biggest bed ever, snuggle, and watch whatever shows we wanted to watch while gobbling up our treats, crying, sobbing, consoling, laughing, crying, pissin off, etc. You all mean very much to me and I don't like to see a drop of hurt in any of you. :hugs x1000

Every morning I start my day with a Zinger *tea* and then I eat a banana. As I've gotten older, I've noticed I get muscle cramps a LOT more often and easier. You might want to start supplementing with high potassium foods or pills.
I detest bananas but love me a good baked potato.

I started building a new animal cage to go under the lean-to. Not sure if bunnies, quail, chickens, poults, keets or what are going in it. Considering making a big multi compartment brooder. Any way, i made the base tonight, and cut plus painted the legs. A good start.

And i worked on the egg turner for my big home made bator. I figured out how to use a dremel to cut metal and got the frame mostly done. 20180423_204525.jpg
A few more details and i should be done. I plan add a door on the end of the bator to make it easier to get the trays in and out. As soon as i get it emptied out. Excited!

:frowGood morning, and hope everyone has a good spring day.

Coffee and got water are on, there are two quiches in the oven keeping warm. The one with the mushrooms on top is dairy free, the other one has dairy. There's also dairy and gluten free French toast, and regular French toast made with whole wheat. The slow cookers have peach cobbler, and turkey sausage gravy, and there are biscuits for the gravy. For those who must have their pork, there is some pork sausage in a medium sized mixing bowl sitting on the back burner staying warm from the oven vent.

What are you doing up so early? Are you crazy? I am only up because of muscle spasms in my quads. I suppose you have to work?
Morning all :frow I'm up at 430 whether I work or not.

Rae, 21 and stacey:hugs:hugs:hugs
off to work I go...

:highfive: No bananas for me either. :sick
Be sure and stay hydrated.

Smuv,
When we had ducks I found that the only thing critters like to eat more than chicken is ducks.
I lost no chickens out in the sticks but I lost plenty of ducks to owl, fox, coons, skunks and coyotes. I can only suggest that you make their enclosure with a roof on it and a skirt. For me that would mean a hoop run/coop.
my poor babies out in the country had a pen that was massive at 1/3rd of an acre. No roof possible on that size and I lost several.
I trapped a few fox, a couple coons and one very smelly skunk. Not something I want you to go through.
As to weight loss......You have had your thyroid checked I assume. About the only thing that works for me is to stay moving. Not always easy and I am still heavy.....just not as heavy as I once was.

I am really bummed about my roof. Ok more ticked than bummed at this point. We got bids from over 20 roofing companies and still ended up with a crappy job. What a waste of time and energy.
I stayed inside with my dogs yesterday when I should have been that annoying nosey homeowner. :rant

Oh and it rained last night and is supposed to rain today too.
