Official Squatch Watchers

Have they been taking care of them since you cleaned them up?
For a few weeks yes. Then they got tired of it and dropped their consistency.

Also she said the rats have been pooping in her porch again.

I told her she needed to be setting the traps (4, that I went to the store and bought her.... the good ones).

She said they caught a bird
(Previously she’d said a rat)
And it made their children “sad”.
I think they just don’t GAS.

She shouldn't have pets.

Hi guys! I've been a little absent, but I've still been reading.

Dear little Ruby Roo, I'm so sorry about your baby. I can't believe you have bears, that is just crazy!

Stacey, you've been in my thoughts, for your sweet kitty.

Anansi, you are such a good person, to do what you have done. It means a lot to those owners for your kindness, let me tell you. You have the soul of a goodhearted veterinarian, love. It takes courage to do that.

Cappy, I'm sorry about your baby bun.

Henny, I'm sorry about your baby chook.

So much sadness!! (and if I missed anyone, I'm sorry.) :hit :hugs :hit

Smuv, I miss chickenSkyping with you, get your tatering Skype fixed. I have Flower all excited and pooping on my couch in anticipation of talking to you, and you're never there.

Where has Chickassan been??!

I've been sad over my mom, so I've been quiet. I will be glad when Mother's Day is past.
For those of you who have moms, give them an extra hug, tell them you love them, tell them how you appreciate them....cuz....well, you never know.

I have been relandscaping the front of our house, and it is starting to look a whole lot better. I've been subbing a little--not enough--but I scored a new gig in a special school yesterday, so hopefully I will get more days. I am working tomorrow, Friday and Monday at my usual special school, and that makes me really happy!

My sweet bratty dogs are all itchy, but fine and driving me nuts.:love My chickens are all wonderful. The babies are getting so big, and so friendly! I have to get some pictures, especially of The Splash Feather Duster, aka Pippins, lol.

that's about it for now, gotta get my janky butt in the shower and clean up a bit. Today I think I am going to move the babies into the garage. They are getting quite stinky! I can't wait to get them outside. :)

Love ya's~

I don’t go to the movies often. And for the past 25 + years 90% have been kid movies or with my kids. But when our movie theater converted to ALL KING SIZE POWER RECLINERS, well.....
I was intrigued.
My one daughter told her sister to MAKE me take her to see Amy Schumer’s new movie “I FEEL PRETTY”.
I read some reviews and kind of wanted to skip it.
It’s not getting very good ratings. And the reviewers have been quite harsh and critical.
But DD was unrelenting,
So we went.
I even took a picture of my feet all propped up in the recliner.
Did I mention they are POWER recliners?....yes? Well it needs repeating.
I’m famous for falling asleep in the dark coolness of a movie theater, especially if the film has a good score....and would have laid down odds that I wasn’t even going to last through the previews.
But I surprised myself.
I stayed awake.
And I really really liked it.
There were several real life LOL’s.
And a few awwwwww’s too.
It was funny and sweet and despite the things about it that weren’t perfect, is there any one of us, young or older, who hasn’t loathed ourself for one reason or another?
Who hasn’t felt awkward or ugly or fat or self conscious?
Raise your hand. I want to be you.
So take your mom or your daughter or your best friend or your partner and go see it. (I even think DH would have enjoyed it, because he is such a good dad.)
I guarantee you’ll enjoy it.
And if you see a girl dressed up sitting all by herself a few seats down, ask her to scootch over and come sit with you.
(Because that’s what we did).
It really deserves to not be watched alone.

That sounds absolutely awesome Stacey!T

I am very glad you had a good time. You needed it.

I am headed to get chicken feed and may stop at Home Depot to get flowers for the porch pots.

Got family coming to visit Saturday. They will be here a week.
Let's check my thrilledometer...........

Yup as I suspected no reading at all.

Look what my mom bought. We have 5 of them. SO TINY!

We have 5 lavenders coming in June, but my mom wanted pearls too. Cackle doesn't sell pearls in any amount less than 15, and I didn't want that many.

@staceyj My poor mother has never lived down falling asleep in the theater. During Jurassic Park. The scene were the T-Rex escapes and eats the lawyer. My dad says he wasn't sure who was making more noise, the Rex or my mom. :lau
I don't think she's been to the theater since.

WOAH. That is high Cap.
What happened?
Thermostat broke?
I think the plastic on the batting i had on top of the bator moved the adjustment arm when i tried to check the temp and humidity last night. I found a clear plastic cap to put over that lever now. Eggs are trashed and i buried my poor bunny today.
:( Now the river is up at least 16 feet!
