Well folks, I just candled the eggs and out of the 17, there are 4 that look good and two questionable ones. Two are completely clear. The other nine look like they got started and died (blood rings. I'm leaving everything in until day 18 just in case. but that is how it looks right now.

Sounds like you have a good plan! How is the home made incubator working out? Are you still using it?

If I get a pair, I'll be happy. I think I can work with my Darks if I end up with only one or two of the same gender.

Still :fl for a pair or better though.
