I feel like there's a Ghostbusters quote that could be use here.Update on Duece, yes im naming the chick Duece. Duece pipped wonky and was pretty much jamming his/her eye with shell so I took Duece out removed shell and coconut oiled membrane as it was dry "Ray tatered up the probe last night, my readings were not correct." So now we have a half nekkid greasy chick and still waiting. I see something on Duece's back, maybe chipmunk pattern? No idea, we shall see. Needs to hurry though, Ray is driving me crazy.
You are such a MacGyver! Brilliant ideas, curtain rods? Duh...! IDK why, but "tarp" never came to me when I was building my brooder last spring. How are they doing?View attachment 1371365
Necessity is the mother of invention.
Chick quarantine made from baby coral with tarp bottom. Broom stick roost (that no one will use). Pop up green house wire shelves on curtain rods for roof. Binder clipped together for extra precaution.
Good luck!Ok squwatchers say a prayer to the chicken God's! Putting in a bid again.![]()
