Loki did the weirdest thing. Tonight I let them out to range and she stayed on the nest, of course everyone shoved her off to the side so they could have THE nest. I moved her over one space and put her eggs in there to hopefully keep the same thing from happening tomorrow. Loki went outside for a little bit and kept puffing up, I swear she looked like a turkey. It was funny to watch. While she was up Jackie sat down in her nest. I expected Loki to attack, but she was fine with it. I put a couple eggs in the other nest to entice Jackie to lay & she and Loki decided to switch nests. After Jackie left I put Loki back on her nest. Chickens.

@apryl29 She doesn’t leave the nest. They can come and go from the coop as they please. The food and water are close but I think far enough she’d have to step out of the box to reach it.

Not that I have found. I haven’t seen big broody poo at all.

Having owned a well spoken bird I am impressed!
