To all the babies!!!!

@CapricornFarm try a mixture of dawn dish soap and warm water on the plants. Do it at night and very early (like an hour or so before the sun comes up) in the morning. Spray the plants that have the bugs. It's a natural bug pesticide. It worked for us in OKLA

My hubby left this AM for Oklahoma for another few weeks :hit:hit:hit:hit

@Redhead Rae my little one used to say shut up at the dogs when barking(my fault ) and we kept telling her no mommy said it wrong and had her say hush or shhhh and she actually will catch herself in the middle of shut and change it to hush. We just kept at telling her what word she needed to use.

Thankfully my FIL lives with us, and I am a stay at home mom so there's alot more supervision.
But my husband another story :he

Are you sure we aren't related? :caf
I've heard that chickens make excellent gifts.

Grandparents, right? SMH... my mom decided it was ok to give my toddler Pepsi. I'd specifically only been drinking sprite b/c of caffeine and sugar concerns so my child had never had it and of course fell in love w/ it and would sneak it from my mom's cup all the freakin' time. THEN once I caught my 2 year old sitting in a chair cigarette in her mouth, lighter in hand, trying to light a cigarette like my mom did so often. Oh, and putting sugar in their cereal. They had no idea what candy/ sugar was until my mom introduced it to them. Daycare was the best thing I've ever done for my kids.

But at least the GP in your situation, they can be trusted to watch them for lon period of times. My FIL is kinda loosing it a little and DOSE NOT pay 100% attention to the kiddos (I swear everytime I leave them one gets hurt -_-) and she is still early in being potty trained and doesn't always know she has to go potty, so needless to say "Paw Paw" gets peed on from time to time.

I would be fine leaving him with just my dad, but I'm more comfortable leaving him when my mom is there.

I am disgusted, my garden is so chewed by bugs and varmints! They chewed off my bean plants yet again after i replanted them. The cabbage, kale and turnip greens are all full of holes from caterpillars, and all of my sweet potato starts were chewed up.
Hey Cappy. I’m with ya sista!
I’ve been out in my garden pruning struggling tomato plants.
We had so much rain and now unrelenting humidity that it brought in the septoria fungus in the air.

It spreads from plant to plant, especially from water splash.

Trim as many affected lower limbs as possible then spray with a fungicide.
*DO NOT LEAVE TRIMMINGS ON THE GROUND OR COMPOST THEM.
THE FUNGUS OVER WINTERS.

If you address it quickly enough you can sometimes get some fruits off the plant before it succumbs.

It doesn’t affect the tomatoes just the plant leaves, but if the plant loses vigor the tomatoes won’t developer and ripen anyway.

I’m also seeing tomato hornworms already. Very early in my opinion.

And big giant things that look like ladybugs on my squash leaves.

I'm going to record each and every god awful weird chicken voice around here and make a thread so folks won't freak when their girls make a little wonk noise. Lulu alone should be enough to calm anybodys fears.:lau

They do make some weird azz noises, don't they? Blueberry (my Derpaucana) has been broody the last couple of weeks, and when I go near her she puffs up into this magnificent ball of blue feathers, sticks her butt feathers straight up, and lets loose this noise that (I guess) is supposed to be scary but sounds like some possessed person speaking in tongues....kinda like a mumbling demonic trill....it's hilarious!:lau

They look like a turkey but sound like a gremlin!
