We have had some rain. Not a huge amount but hey I'll take what I can get.

Trying to get stuff done today. :p

Trimmed and mowed the front, replanted beans and cukes AGAIN, added fence around bean bed, cleaned kennels and all water dishes, fed birds, and now a short break then dog baths.

After that off to get a crib mattress so I can build a raised dog bed for my old arthritic guy.
Getting rid of the giant sofa I find him laying on the hard floor WAY more than he should.

I did buy a second hand gigantic foot stool. It is 2'x4'. Sable has claimed it.

Wish me luck with the dog baths.......Sable is tough to bathe.

This girl has been trying to stay broody for about a month, but we had no place to put her. She hasn't broken, even with being put in our mesh floor mobile coop every night. So we had a run open and we put her in there, but she was skinny so I didn't want her to sit for 3 more weeks. So I gave her fakes and planned to give her my incubator chicks that hatched this week. 1 hatched last night and 3 over night. So I took the four babies out to her today and she has accepted them. I had to lift her wing to see if the babies were okay. When I lifted her wing, out this baby popped. She was clamped over them tighter than a clam shell over a pearl.
