Poor old Charlie has a big cyst near where he had that huge tick imbedded on his neck. Like not quite as big as a plum. That is big for a small dog. I am thinking it needs lanced and drained, then maybe antibiotics, like penicillin.

This makes my heart feel so happy !

It makes me happy that I don't have to brood these chicks.

Seriously though, I think the babies are much happier when they have a mama. Which is why I was so happy I was able to graft the week old chicks to Molly last week.

Sounds like a vet visit might be necessary.

I have done it before, and i can get antibiotics at TSC. I have stuff to numb it up as well.

I just found a rare and mythical creature in my poultry pen this evening.

I... have a broody..... white..... leghorn.....

It isn't even one of my leghorn crosses. This is one of my pure leghorns. Weird right?
