I've been watching the local FB marketplace and people around here think their old single pane barn windows are made of gold.@FlyingNunFarm ,Ebay search for coop, playhouse, or small shed windows people on there have good deals on simple windows. That is where mine came from, I couldn't spend a butt ton.![]()
Did you treat the whole flock?
Pick a time frame, like every three months for a float test after this and treat if worms are found.
You could get a microscope and have the friend show you how to use it. Here at UC Davis, the surplus place sells them. Maybe you can find a nice used one at a college near you

I think I paid $35 or $40 per window. Brand new... and they open...
I like that idea !Consider a small storage area with a second door just inside the main door. The wall and door can be simple chicken wire. Idea is that you close the main, before opening the entry to the coop. If you have an escape artist, they're still contained.
See if you can find an auction. My dad bought a lot of 11 vynil windows at an auction for $40. Only one didn’t open and was purely decorative.I've been watching the local FB marketplace and people around here think their old single pane barn windows are made of gold.
