Tomato horn worms turn into very large moths. Moths are out mostly at night so you do not see them as much
I picked one of those of my tomato plant the other day!!! Was like WTH is this?!

What are those creepy white grains of rice looking things on their back, are they eggs? Ugh, I hate bugs so much!

When I was growing up in the country, there was a loud thunk on the window at night. I thought a bird had flown into the window. When we checked, a bird sized moth was crumpled up on the porch. It was a tomato horn worm moth!

Adults
Adults are large, with a wingspan of up to 13 cm.[7] The wings of the moth are brown and gray with large mottled front wings and smaller hindwings with light and dark zig-zag patterned bands. The abdomens are brown and white with a row of five yellow spots down each side, giving them the name "five-spotted hawkmoth."[10][4] The moths of M. quinquemaculata and M. sexta can be distinguished by the number of spots on their abdomens.[8]

Hahahahahahaha......it never gets old....!

Ohmigod, the CRICKETS....uggghhhh.

We have spider crickets, and the storage area/shed/back of my coop is full of them. They are disgusting and freak me out to the point that when I go in to fill their feeders there are hordes of them on the wall staring at me, ready to jump, and I drop the top of the feed bin and run screaming like a little girl. I hate them!!!

How can I get rid of them without spraying some chemical smog into my coop? I'm really scared of them. Don't make fun of me, I hate bugs. You shoulda seen me when I was a vet and I would get a dog or cat that was infested with maggots. I would bribe my vet techs to get rid of them, it freaked me out so bad!
Maybe glue boards tacked on the walls? I am surprised the chicken don't clean them out.

I have seen that before! Do an image search and see where it came from
How do you do an image search?

Eggs on their back are from a type of wasp. The babies hatch and eat the worm alive.

Those are parasitic wasp eggs, that will kill the caterpillar.

Yes!

There seem to be several types of wasps that will kill them. Do you think farmers are using them? I bought some from Gardens Alive! years ago for cut worm moths in my lawn
