:frowI’m WHISPERING.
Good morning.
I hoping @Redhead Rae got to sleep in.

Hoping Sable’s tummy is better today.

Happy Friday everyone.
I slept until 7:30 this morning, but I was up every 2 hours or so checking to see if the build was going to come in. Because my landline is down, I couldn't wait for a phone call and just sleep. My body is NOT happy with me. We never did get the build. We should get it sometime today, we hope.

What is the build?

Good morning! Kids are running up and down the coop ramp this morning bugging anybody who lays in that back nest I really don't like...good kids.:caf
Hubs hit a deer last night on the way home tatered up the truck. He's fine, truck is still driveable, deer ran off. Luckily we've got all those junk trucks for parts.
I went to a turkey farm ohhhhh about 23..24 years ago on a preschool field trip.
They family that owned the farm had it orchestrated so beautifully for the kids (and me lol)
When mr. Farmer called them they ALLLLLLLLL came running up over the hill like a thigh-high white wave of bird love.

:love:love:love:love:love:love:love

Of course this was just before thanksgiving break.

And the art projects that week were all turkey and thankfulness centered.

My son made his thanksgiving placemat which was laminated of course with a small farmer stick man, a huge turkey and the teachers handwriting that said:
Oliver is thankful that his family doesn’t eat turkeys for thanksgiving. They eat big chickens instead.
I am thankful for you Oliver! Love, Mrs. Coulson.

My sister was cooking at her house that year and we had to wink wink nudge nudge all the husbands all day about that 30 pound chicken so 4 year old Oliver wouldn’t cry.
Oh great times. :lau
You owe me several mouthfuls of coffee. :gig

I was prepared for the black coffee to be yucky, but it’s not bad! At least I know if I totally run out of creamer, I won’t have to go without my lifeline.
I usually drink black coffee.. it's not bad, but some kinds I cannot drink b/c it gives me the worst heartburn. Years ago, before the McCafe thing came around McD's had cappuccino's that were 97% sugar and I LOVED them. I'd get one every morning. Then they switch to the McCafe thing and they tasted like burnt wood so I switched to coffee. I lost like 10 lbs b/c of it, but the old kind was sooooo good.

I opened up my coop door this morning to see there was a chicken explosion over night. :lau
Both of my Welsummers haven’t laid in a few days and this morning their feathers were everywhere!

I wonder how many feathers are on your average chicken?
One of my eggers (maybe both) is molting so much she should be naked by now. Olive and William are both tailless. Willie is a shell of a man now. He's very pathetic looking. Olive's got the saddest bit of downy fluff covering her tail stump. So far none are exciting enough to enter in the molting contest.

It is a piece of work that I've been assigned to do to be another set of eyes looking for errors and problems with the changes the software people submitted. I think that is the simplest I can make it.
That sounds horrible. I hope you got paid for your misery.
