His eyes will bug out even more when he sees what high winds can do. Maybe you can board up the windows on the side of the house that wil get the most impact. I’m well stocked I think.
Only thing I’m regretting is that we are NOT boarded up.
It doesn’t matter now because plywood is in short supply, but I’ve been strongly divided on this with DH since this storm was confirmed as a problem for us.
His work has been grueling the past week -I get that.
And he’ll have to hit the ground running as soon as the storm passes because of his field.
I totally get that he felt that he couldn’t/didn’t want to do it but I wanted to hire someone to come do it fast and do it right. When I gave DH a ballpark figure his eyes bugged out just like our emoji here.
What can I say. He’s cheap.
