I curse! :barnie:barnie:barnie
I spit-spit-SPIT- PA-TOOHEY
:he:he:he:he:he
on whomever planted all those dang “gum ball” trees in my back two neighbor’s yards.

As you know my Welsummers have very tender feet and are terribly prone to bumblefoot, and I’ve struggled with it all summer.
This morning I’ve been clearing their free range enclosure from hurricane debris.
So far I’ve gathered a wheelbarrow full of pine cones, and THREE five gallon buckets of #+%+%*}^{ :ducGUM BALLS! :tongue

There are a few ways to cut the metal roofing.
I found the fastest and safest was with a blade for metal in my circular saw.

A jig saw can work but takes forever. An angle grinder works too but dang is it dangerous.

Personally..... If the roofing wouldn't end up being a head knocker I would leave the extra as overhang...... On your structure I think it would be to low.

I dispose of dog doo by using the scoop...
I have one on a 3' handle like a stand up dust pan but metal and short rake like for clearing under shrubs. Then into a trash bag and into the regular trash.
I use cheap bags for bathroom can size.

I am able to pick it up every time they go though since I am a homebody.
I have another friend who has a metal trash can that she deposits them in (lined with a heavy duty trash bag)
But still, the thought of lifting out fifty pounds of hot dog crap to get rid of it and change the bag, makes me want to puke.

Also, what do you guys do with your dog poop? At the old house it was impossible to pick up. We had dogs and the landlords dogs would come over. Other dogs would be over. Poop everywhere.
I’m trying to pick it up when they go but I was retching this morning. I have a bucket going to put it in but my god the smell!
I wait until it drys and firms up... I use the plastic sleeves from newspapers. 2 on the right hand pick up what I can hold and turn the first sleeve inside out to hold the poop. Add to it and tye shut by looping the open end... I have one dog who goes 3x a day and I can get a days worth in a bag... bag goes in the garbage.
In the winter after a thaw, I use a hoe and a grain scoop to scrap the mess up into a garbage bag in a 5 gal bucket.

If it's rainy it goes away before I get to it LOL

yes any wood
without treatment,,, or glue
Ok thank you!
I’ve used an entire box of 50 contractor bags and don’t feel like spending another $20 on another box today. So I’m burning some of this yard waste in a big outdoor fireplace. It has a great drawl and is getting my piles down fast. I thought maybe I’d save some of the ash later for the girls.

They are so happy to be walking on soft fluffy ground again. :wee:wee:wee:wee:wee
