It has a hardware cloth bottom.
Well first of all, the tub is not level. Instead of using spacers properly, he broke them into 4 pieces. The tiles are cut crooked and not in a strait line. I can't believe hubby paid the guy for most of the job. I will probably have to rip it out and do most of it myself.

A drunk person could do a better job and actually finish it. I have been ragging on hubby daily for hiring these guys yet again. I suppose at least i can get a bath now but my bathroom is trashed.
Great news!!
I am such a bad patient! I go in with the mindset that they can't do anything without my consent and have refused several procedures recommended to me.![]()
Congrats on your recovered peace of mind!![]()
Best clicking news I have had all damn day. Cindi baby. Big giant squatchy hug for you girl.
I’ll catch up with you all tomorrow.
Morning, unfortunatelyNormally I'm asleep at this time, but guess whose brain is stuck in "am I going to have to ask someone to move their vehicle so I can go where I need to?" I did talk to the property owner and pointed out that there is a whole section of the street on the north side with no driveways that can be used without affecting access to his property, but that using the section on the south side affects 3 families with driveways that are within 15 feet of each other. Or if 3 weeks that they've been working on that property, my ability to come and go as I please or need to had been impacted on 6 days. That's not how you treat someone with a house that will be literally 20 feet from yours. It would be very easy to make their lives difficult, especially if they have small kids. I have to take 3 dogs out on leashes during the day so that my big dog doesn't go over there while people are working. Used to be I only had to have the 2 small ones on a leash. I don't think anyone took in to account how all of this would impact the lives of the people who already live here. They definitely didn't consider it when they made the plans for the house. If they had, maybe the county would have said they can't build such a large home there. Granted, none of their structures will be on our property, but it definitely had made life more difficult for the time being. I shouldn't be losing sleep wondering if I'm going to be able to do what I need to the next day without having to ask someone to move a construction related vehicle.
It's not even worth me trying to sleep at this point, I have to be up in and hour and 45 minutes.
Maybe soon I'll be less aggravated with the whole tatering mess, but I doubt the problem had been resolved just because I spoke with the property owner. This is the 3rd time we've talked to them about reducing the impact to our daily lives. If I have to keep asking them, I'm going to be talking to the county, the is no reason that we should have to continually say something to them just to live in our own home without being inconvenienced by their construction. Yes, I understand that there will be an increase in noise and the coming and going of people. Yes, I understand that they will have to dig in front of our driveway to lay a conduit for utilities. That I expect. I just don't want to have to ask people to move vehicles just because it's easier for them to block us in than taking the time yo use the section of the street where nobody lives. I don't think it's unreasonable, they can still do everything they need to as far as pouring concrete and unloading supplies and equipment. I guess they are so used to dealing with subdivisions under construction that they forget to think about the fact that people actually live here, and these houses have been here since at least 1982.
On the lighter side at least the birds are happy, and I have a 9 lb cuddle buddy snoozing on my lap, everyone is asleep and I'm listening to crickets in DD #'s 3 & 4's room chirping away as they try to entice a mate, totally oblivious to the fact that they are going to be someone's next meal. And I have y'all to keep me company and brighten my day. Hopefully my lousy mood will change as well. I was depressed enough without the stuff with the construction next door.I'll try to not rant about it on here anymore, cuz y'all are too awesome to get aggravated with all of the grousing.
Have the most bestest day you can.for everyone.
Bears respond really well to electric fence. They can sense it and steer clear.Hey peeps! This summer has been super crazy, but super fun, and I'm enjoying school so far. I won't be on here that frequently, because this year is going to be pretty important and I'll need to be really focused. The chickens are doing ok. A few weeks ago, a bear attacked 3 times, killing four chickens. The DEC are being taters and still haven't brought the bear trap they were supposed to bring two Mondays ago. @staceyj, nope! Still happily boyfriend-free! My brother's here at the high school this year. He stresses over everything, but I think he secretly likes it. I'm trying to convince my mom to let me get poison dart frogs, and am now considering going to the Air Force Academy when I graduate high school So that's the stuff in Ruby's life lately!
Yep, ya got me!....ya dirty little lurker, you!
