Head count came up one short. The crooked beaked BO was missing!
Hubby found her roosted on some trellis in the garden.
Plucked her and stuck her in the correct sleeping spot.

A wet to dry dressing wicks out purulent drainage and infection from a wound bed.

After my husband’s botched sugary which led to them opening the incision, leaving a crater the size of a watermelon, we packed it with yards and yards of Dakin’s soaked gauze and changed it every 12 hours.

It took weeks but It killed all the infection and debrided the dead tissue. eventually it allowed him to have a wound vac.

Yeah even if you have to leave town for a few days, I tandam nursed my last two, not on purpose, I just couldn’t wean thing 3 then thing 4 was born and she was so jealous!
