Wow, what a bunch of freeloaders! Bob, I know I asked before, but my memory is a sieve, lol....what do you do with all those chickens?

Well, come spring I'll thin the cockerels down to breeding stock and the old girls will also go to the freezer and then I'll start hatching again. I sell and eat the eggs.

You can get the pill that comes from monistat and giver her half of one. Usually the stuff causing the crop issues is fungal. It leads to vent gleet. After a couple of days giving her half a pill twice a day, give her a tablespoon of plain yogurt for a couple of days
It’s not a pill Ron. It’s a vaginal suppository. Each one can be cut into four doses.:gig;)

Oh wait! Sorry. Do you mean diflucan? That one’s a pill.
Need a script for it though. And you only get one single pill.
They are very stingy giving out helpful things for women.
Guys can call a 1-800 off the back of a magazine and get rx’s delivered in the mail all day long.

I would rather call it a pill! good and bad.gif

quarter, third, half depends on the size of the hen. I should have posted that!

going over won't hurt though.

I am used to my very large hens here

That would be much better!

(you can buy it for pigeons without a prescription--or you used to be able to)

How do you sell your eggs? I'm curious how you guys on here who sell yours do that...like at a roadside stand, in a farmer's market, etc.?

I always give mine away cuz I only have like 2-4 dozen spare a week. But I always wondered how those who actually sell their eggs do it.
