Cochin are supposed too be average layersProbably be another two months given the time of year! And they are Cochins lol
BsUgh, I got them from my second cousin.. his grandma brought him over knowing he had bugs but didn't tell anybody because she was embarassed. So I got bugs for no good reason at all!![]()

I'm wondering if some of my recent issues were feed related. Glayds still isn't walking. She can move her legs, she doesn't seem to want to. So typed in her symptoms and vitamin deficiencies came up. Started giving her poli-vysol. At this point why not....
I use feather fixer all the time and still get extra calcium on some eggs. They get treats but not as many since I moved and they didn't. Mostly healthy stuff. Fruit is a big one. Bread sometimes. It's not like I give them a loaf per bird.
Just scratching my head....

They have turkey feed and the place I am now going to is listed as a distributor... but they told me they couldn't get organic turkey feed... I need to show them and ask if they would order it for me.. thanksWe get our feed from New Country Organics. My mom became a distributor for our region so I get a nice chunk off the retail price if I chip in for gas. My mom has other customers now. I don’t know how NCO would work for you in Illinois. They are located in VA. I know if someone in NC who gets his feed shipped in from them.
Great, now I have a bad case of the creepy-crawlies.
I feel for you Rae you've got kids and now those super lice exsist. Hopefully you either homeschool and become a hermit forbidding your kiddos to touch strange hats or have another boy so you can just buzz cut, wash all the bedding and call it a day.Great, now I have a bad case of the creepy-crawlies.

That’s bull. If they get anything from NCO, they can get any of their products. They may not be willing to get it regularly because they aren’t asked for it. I would call NCO and talk to them about the distributor you use. If it is an issue of not wanting to carry a product, maybe you can offer to pay a certain percentage up front to guarantee to them that you will get it. My mom said that she talked to the guy at NCO and they aren’t pleased with distributors that don’t take special orders of their more unusual feeds. They have turkey feed and the place I am now going to is listed as a distributor... but they told me they couldn't get organic turkey feed... No room to unload a semi here.
