Happy Thanksgiving! I'm sitting here doing nothing and it is NICE I tells ya! Half my chicken feed order came yesterday so nobody is going hungry, they're eating slightly treaty but it is a holiday so be it.:)
Unfortunately, you now have accountants making medical decisions for you. The entire medical enterprise is totally corrupt these days. And the doctor doesn't work for you, his office manager works for the insurance company and he works for her. The whole system needs to be destroyed and re-built from the ground up. Without the insurance companies. Sorry for the rant.
A couple of things need to be out of the medical system. The insurance companies and the DEA need to get out. I can't even get my adderal anymore the insurance covers it but the DEA requires random drug tests for it now. Being as I don't drive I can't do random anything so i'm boned. They don't give a flying flip about odd situations though, if you can't do things their way then you just can't do them at all. Real shame, that stuff really helped.:(

I agree Chicky.
There is a ton of overhead regulation that keeps those that really need the medical care from getting it.

I am cooking and tending critters while hubby has a car show on really really loud (and he's sleeping in his chair) I dare not touch that remote.

Next up in the kitchen is corn bread, pasta salad, spinach dip and maybe a pie......I have a chocolate pie in the freezer. Then shove the turkey in the oven and make dressing.

I bow to you dear Henny, my feast is bean and cheese burritos. I'm going to fancy them up with salsa, sour cream and extra cheese...just like the pilgrims did it.:caf

Seriously hon, holiday as it pleases you. Having a chaos free day is a good thing.

I make to much food......always. We will be on leftovers for the next entire week.
I don't want to do this next year.

A herniated disc in your neck or even a pinched nerve in the C-6 or 7 area can cause your symptoms.
Did this just crop up?
Have you fallen off any ladders lately?
Been sleeping on the couch?
It seemed like there was no major event that caused it, just woke up one morning to pain. I thought it was just muscular and would resolve by itself in a few days. Applied heat, took muscle relaxers, and rested. For days. Been to the Dr, and the ER. It does seem to be a little better as long as i don't move the wrong way the pain seems less but the numbness in my thumb is worse.

Are you sure it's gleet?

Monistat inside and out, probiotics, a good cleaning with an epsom salt bath when she's icky back there are the usual recommendations.
Do you use ACV in the water?
I think it is gleet but am not 100% sure because I have never dealt with it before.

The hen isn’t actually mine. She belongs to my dad but he is out of town for a couple weeks and asked me to check on his chickens.

I don’t use ACV and I don’t think he does either. I will buy some!

And I can post a picture if you want... I was just scared I was gonna ruin someone’s appetite :sick
