Anatolian Shepherd or Great Pyrenees, but you would have to start them out supervised with the animals as a puppy. Usually the mother will teach the puppies, but you would have to do that. I would recommend you do a lot of research so you know if they are the right dog. Both breeds are independent thinkers, and will protect their charges with their lives, if need be. They are not recommended for novice owners, so if this is your first herding or guardian breed, I wouldn't recommend one. Also be aware that they can be prone to hip, elbow and thyroid problems if they are from poor bloodlines. You will need to look for a reputable breeder who is breeding for health and temperament, and preferably, who is breeding on a farm and using the parents as dual purpose, breeding and guarding.

Our current big boy is Anatolian Shepherd/border collie, and we are going to be getting a pure Anatolian for DD#3's mobility assistance service dog. Having our big boy is like having a perpetual 4 yr old, but he's a very good guardian for us. We've also been around Anatolians before, as a friend of ours has a couple, and a Great Pyrenees. We do have a breeder that we plan to go to, as well, one that imports from Turkey for genetic purposes, and has bloodlines for 3 generations, plus info on hips, elbows and thyroid for at least 2 generations.

This is the nicest way iv'e ever heard someone say windows 10 is garbage. ;)
One of the last challenges I solved for the government required a multi-boot system, I used grick (spelling) and had 9 different OS on the machine, but it worked. An old school approach used with new technology.

Win10 can pretty well get you there, but it's frustrating figuring out how.

Hey guys! I had a pretty good day today despite a few hiccups. I went to church with FIL and the Milk Drinker. And even though the Milk Drinker got carsick on the way there it wasn't too bad. We had only fed him apple sauce before we left and I had a folded sheet over his lap, so he only got his sweatshirt dirty. When we got back from church, I had a pretty bad headache, but that went away after a nice 2.5 hour nap. When I got up, some of my siblings had already arrived at my parents'. We went over and hung out and had dinner. The Milk Drinker enjoyed having 5 new people (4 sibs and a boyfriend) to play up to. We had fun. It was nice sitting, talking, telling stories. I'm looking forward to spending more time with them over the next 2 days.

Ya'll didn't eat possum for dinner did ya? ;)
Today was a good day I finally clobbered the egg thief. Dam opossum was in the coop eating my eggs. I knocked it out with a steel ball bearing from my sling shot. Pulled it out and then wacked it. So good day. Went to have dinner with my parents. Hope everyone else is doing well

I know Nunny, that bitcoin rig going here is windows 10. I swear that OS is possesed, it just does whatever it wants even if you tell it specifically not to do it.:barnie
I sadly have a brand new laptop that’s a year a old and I’ve only turned on 1/2 dozen times. It’s beacuse of Windows 10! I absolutely hate it and was frustrated to the point of tears trying to use it. (I wasn’t in a good place at the time though.)

It likely has a bunch of updates to do but after that, give it a chance. I am responsible for a hundred or so of them at work and they work very well. Even Staff that is not very computer literate do well with Windows 10.

Windows 7 will not be supported by Microsoft too much longer. The clock is ticking for learning how to use the OS.

Once an OS is not supported, it quickly becomes a danger for being compromised by hackers and crooks wanting to steal from you

My son works at the "Mothership," as my brother calls it. He is a programmer for Microsoft. He was a freshman at UIC(Chicago) and attended a job fair. He spoke to folks from Goggle who wanted UP THERE grade averages, and Microsoft who didn't. Microsoft guy was very impressed and my son was flown out there for an interview.

He interned for them for two summers but not a third because after the third time they hire you. He wanted to finish college. When he graduated they had him move to WA.even paid to bring his car over, and his other moving, packing expenses.

He was born to be a computer person, I was not. Doing what I do on BYC is the extent of my ability. Often I have to get remote assistance from him to carry on. He loved machines since he was a toddler. He also took apart anything he could find, to see what made it tick. He never put anything back together. Like the first 2 answering machines he destroyed.

My son looked at and understood product manuals even though he couldn't read yet. He eventually got a 3rd. time re-homed computer and took off. I figure this had to be spontaneous generation. We sure didn't have it in our genes.
