It was, but gah Apryl I didn't even think about protecting the children lol! I know better than to have a crinkly bag out there, nothing good comes from that. Poor little dude, so close to the ground she just snatched them, killed and ate them not two feet away. She's never had a cheeto, the fact that she thought she had to kill them almost made me donkey laugh and that would have looked really bad.:oops:
Well, the kid's learned a life lesson. He'll either proudly share the story when he's older and laugh, or be terrified of chickens for the rest of his life and never eat another cheeto. Maybe buy him a replacement bag if you are to ever see him again.

WHYYYYYY PUPPY??? WHYYYY?

Freaking terrifying thing this crazy pup did!

Sooooo I keep food available to the dogs. Tilly decided to wolf down half her food. Not a giant amount but the speed caused her to choke!

She was in serious trouble for a few seconds there.

:eek::th

Heimlich on a tiny puppy OMG!!!!!

She's ok now but dang!

:eek::thIndeed. I'm glad she is ok!

So, I set a roast to thaw last night and had it in the oven by 8am cooking low and slow. I've been working today, like I did Monday. Just monitoring email and preparing for something I'm expecting tomorrow. I got 4 loads of laundry through the washing machine. There is still one load that needs to go into the dryer. I just need to fold them.... which is my least favorite part because it it takes the most time, especially when folding Milk Drinker clothes. But I feel pretty pretty accomplished for the day.

I'm betting on the latter. This is a soft little guy, the kind that does not like getting dirty he was terrified he'd step on a poo. The other little guy has been mugged before and actually enjoys it and isn't one bit afraid of poo. Lulu being evil,mugged the easily scarred child. He's got to be at least six so the tears kind of caught me off guard, it was just a itty bitty bag.:idunno

I would have loved to be a fly on the wall. You sure you've got a puppy and not just a real hairy kid? ;)
I was terrified I would hurt her but I had to do something.

The only other time I had to do the Heimlich was on my son when he was 18 months old.

At least I had the human training all those decades ago.

She seems fully ok after all that.
