It wasn’t a nastygram. They just said the kid didn’t know what they were talking about and since they were cleaning up their posts and my responses to them had to go too.

That I've seen, yes. When did you have geese? I've thought a few times about getting some, but I would definitely regret it.

I had 4 Embden geese, 2 survived the first Christmas. Sooooo many feathers, the pair got to live because it was too much work to kill them! Very protective of the chosen nest site, and not easy to get them to change their minds once they get their hearts set on a nest. The BEST parents ever. Well worth it, just to watch them raise their goslings. So, I just sold the babies.

I was actually born in the sixties but my sisters were teenagers when I was born so I’m sort of a kindred spirit with “old hippies”

Nest? Crazy girl dosent need a nest, she was on a bare floor trying to make me the proud grandma to a half flat ping pong ball....nest ha!

Another note; today was busy, we moved out Guinea coop, from all the rain and flooding it was NASTY! I cant stand nasty, dirty coops! And because of the flooding rain we keep getting we made a new Quail coop today.

Not done yet, and excuse the major mess we have going on the rain here has really made things hard to manage. We have been flooding so much the ducks swim in our fron yard

I’m not surprised. They are as smart as, if not smarter than, dogs and have more weight to throw around to break through bad barriers.
