Someone once told me that sulfur helps with pecking does anyone know if that is true

Never heard that, but the only trouble with pecking is the turkeys.

Well I guess I’m the only one on. I have been having a problem lately. One of my girls is laying in the floor of the coop with the poop . Anyway I don’t know who it is and I don’t know if she is sitting there or if it is falling from the roost. Anyone have this problem before

I have some that have dropped an egg from the roost. Usually a young one

My roost is about 4' and deep litter so they just freeze and split... it's been below zero

I have had mine build a nest on the coop floor a couple times. Breaking up the nest and moving the eggs to a nest box changed their minds eventually.

Mine is only an inch but I dig them out each night. I wish whoever it is would put them in a box for me instead

Go ahead and buy some permethrin spray to spray in the coop.
Mites live in the cracks of the coop.

If I’m going to use liguid I’ll use the Elector PSP. I’m more worried about the temperature. Current forecast is a high of 39* on Monday but we then go to a high of -2* on Wednesday. Low of -12*. Supposed to be warmer temperatures a few days in a row next weekend. Not sure I should wait that long.

How the Pat crow did they get mites in winter!?!

I'd spray the coop tomorrow.
Get a head start on knocking the mite population down asap.
Mites are very common this time of year for some reason I don't think they care too much about the cold weather.
