That's my layer coop. Yes just 12 Australorp. :hmm

My Cochin coop
1 red cochin (supposed to be a giant but is WAY closer to bantam size)
1 black bantam cochin
1 silver laced bantam cochin
2 giant blue cochins
1 tiny barnevelder

No eggs from this group at all.

good article on culling, great to have to post for people in need...paper towel is good idea. I wasn't too happy when I did in a chick last spring, paper towel would have helped.

been having hawk problems so the hens quit, just a few pullet eggs 50+ females and 4 eggs that are too small to sell

It's ok. I was hoping they would have picked up again by now as it's February but a lot has changed in the last 6 months. The flock location, the flock itself, me.... I'm sure it all plays a part.
Would be nice though...freeloaders.
