I've got a hand that's losing her toenail. Anybody know what the hell I'm supposed to do?

I'll be offline this weekend cuz I'm taking hubby to the Philly Flower Show this weekend. Booked a room, got a petsitter....I'm psyched!

The theme is "Flower Power" (for the 50th anniversary of Woodstock). From the pictures, it looks pretty awesome. I haven't been to the show in a few years, so I'm really looking forward to it. I love the PFS. :)

I soaked it for a bit in warm water. It looks like it's broken off, but I don't think it's all the way through. I got her in w the vet. I'm not sure how to wrap it or what else to do.

Cry? That just looks painful the poor thing. How much of the nail is off? Depending on how attached or unattached I would think about removing it the rest of the way. Surgically removing it would be better then her ripping it off.
Then I agree, cleaning it frequently and keeping it clean. Wrapping it with a little gauze and vet wrap.

Again OUCH!

I looked at the pic again. It does look separated across the top.

I am not sore about stabilizing it either. :hmm

When do you get to see the vet?
