Official Squatch Watchers

I'm moving 100 yards down the road. The main benefit to this is less packing, but still, a ROYAL hassle.
especially if you do not have a lot of help!

Oh, I have sad news. I lost one of my Bantam Cochin cross hens. She somehow got herself wedged in a cinder block in their run. Fortunately, she wasn't one of the broodies.

Rae, that IS sad news. :(
I am sorry you lost her. :hugs

Do you have an eggs from the one you lost?
No, poor thing never even got to lay.:(
Eggs are set, and i've already failed at chicken math.
I set six not four, three Rene a Hobo a Marlene and a Susan.
Overshot my number incase some aren't fertile and for roosters.
My luck they're all healthy unbaked boys.:th

Oh, random but hubs killed my mouse don't know how but he did.
I hate a wireless mouse with a passion so I had to order a wired one.
Couldn't go buy one they're extinct!
Sooo for 5.99 this is going to be my new one.:gig

We are at 28° wind chill making it feel like 11.
Wind steady at about 30 mph. Gusts up to 90 mph.

Power is intermittent.
Chickens are all ok. Minor snow blown into cochin house. I did get 3 whole eggs and one broken.

Ok that's my update.

I love that mouse Chicky!!

That is a bad wind there!

I hope the power stays on and all are safe

We will be ok. Being in town our power doesn't usually stay off for long.

There are reports of lots of trees down and over 130,000 people without power. Most of those from the provider for more rural areas.

My hubby and son had to go pull a big tree out of the road. It took 2 trucks to drag that heavy beast.

In Sacramento on I-80, a light pole fell across some of the lanes. a bunch of cars crashed into it. One SUV went off of the road.

I do not know if it was wind related but there was higher than normal wind here last night
