Official Squatch Watchers

Oh gosh. First Cooper story of the day.

Last night I took a small bottle of dawn dishwashing liquid into my bathroom because I’d gotten a big smear of triple antibiotic ointment on one of my favorite t-shirts which happens to be dark blue.
I left it in there because I thought I’d let it sit overnight, rinse it, then retreat again before putting it through the wash.

Cooper came running into the kitchen a few minutes ago,

Carrying the bottle

Which wasn’t closed

From the bottom.

And had left a trail of soap from my bathroom, through the bedroom , down the hall, through the family room and all the way to the sink.

“Hey mom! You left this in the wrong place! I brought it for you! Aren’t I a good good boy?!?”:wee

Thanks Coopy. :th

Awwwwww!!! Head scratches for such an observant helper. :hugs

Soooo..... my dog loving peeps.....
Tilly needs her ears cleaned better than I can get to with cotton balls and a washcloth. :hmm
Can anyone recommend a good dog ear wash that is over the counter?

I am thinking of going with the curaseb....not sure what is best though.

Henny I forgot to mention.

How very much I’m missing Jonah today.

Man, that dog loved days spent gardening.
He’d move from area to area with me. He’d BAKE in the sunshine. Head tilted up. Eyes closed. Nose always smelling the air, moving like a big old bear.
Eventually he’d get hot and move into the shade. But he’d always stay real close. He always had such a pleasant calm presence. He was just so pleased to co-exist.

Not dig.
Not steal my hand tools.
Not pull up plants.
Not jump in the pool.
Not chew up or eat all the pine cones, the sticks and twigs and roots and piles of weeds and all the baby herb seedlings that I’d grown in a whole dang flat.
He was so happy just to BE.

I know Coop just needs time. I do love him. He’s a good boy with a good heart that just needs to grow up. I just MISSED Jonah, today. I felt like so much was missing.

Stace,

I cried.

:hugs

well mine won't let me use anything smelly... i open the bottle in the other room when he is sleeping and he wakes up and starts running ...
This stuff i can open it in the same room at least... once I get him he is resigned to it.

My son has Amazon prime. I will get it ordered. It looks like it would be effective.

I did too. I got a very clear picture of him basking in the sun with his eyes closed. :hit

It is clear that he was very very loved.

Those are nice names whether they're boys or girls.. or a pat. I had a hen named Steve that turned into a roo.

Isn't that the best?! William crowed early, though not a 2 days old.. It was the funniest little squeak of a crow. So we're at 2 suspected boys and 1 definite boy? Sir Henry, Hobo's son, and the black one w/ the dot on the head?

I did not know this...

Nope... you've got a pet squirrel. Congrats on the other new addition. LOL My dad had one at the shop he used to work at. He'd feed it crackers and peanut butter. He'd keep the food in his toolbox & one day my dad went in late and the guy at the machine next to him told him that his squirrel was looking for him. The guy was afraid of it. The squirrel was sitting on my dad's toolbox waiting for him b/c it wanted some peanut butter. Unfortunately, before the shop closed the squirrel disappeared.
Then last winter my brother was putting out corn to attract deer & all he ended up doing was attracting every single squirrel, chippy, and bird in the area.
Corid tastes nasty, i put some on my tongue because the chickens didn't want to drink it. Yeah, spit it out.
