The fence should be checked to make sure it is working correctly. It should make him cry too@staceyj Update on me.
I found out I have a little bit of glucose intolerance (but not bad enough to be classified as GD) but I found a way to manage it with diet.
Thing 1 is getting smarter by the day and has an incredibly high pain tolerance. Today he discovered why we've been keeping him away from electric fences. I FINALLY got an electrician out here to set up our service boxes and we were walking the property to figure out what to do with a dirt pile in the back yard that is right were the power company wants to put a pole. Thing 1 was walking along and I hear him start saying in a monotone, repetitive way "Oww. Oww. Oww." I look at him and he is up the hill from me holding onto the electric fence (that my neighbor uses to keep his cows in, which are currently on our property). I tell him to let it go. He says in a very calm matter of fact voice "Fence, Oww." I remember the first time I got shocked by an electric fence. I was crying.
