A very long doctors visit that could have been much shorter.
Basically it boils down to hubs is in rough shape. Changes are a must. He prescribed 2 meds, more bloodwork and a visit to an endocrinologist.

We will get it figured out.

So for those who deal with diabetes....
Dinner plan is pork loin chops with a stir fried side of squash, eggplant, green onion, mushrooms and orange bell pepper.
If something is glaringly bad there please let me know.

Well, best of luck if anybody can do it you can.
I would give it a whirl but iv'e only got a couple hens that would have me shipping anything besides boxes of roosters.
If anybody wanted those I would totally be in buisness.;)
Most of them are going into a box as soon as they dry and heading to the post office. I'm going to try my hand at shipping live birds.

I've had a lot of requests for Hollands so I had NPIP testing done and should get final approval today or tomorrow. I have my temporary already. Pricing is crazy though. I look at hatcheries and other breeders who do rare breeds... They sells eggs for $5.00 each, plus S&H and they're selling live chicks SR for the same price. That seems nuts to me, but seems to be the market I'm in.

:hugs:hugs:hugs You two will get this figured out!

Dinner sounds great to me. Eating lots of veggies is important. Most are low in carbs, high in fiber, and very filling. Good thing you are a great gardener!

Later I will send you some of my favorite recipes for low carb baked goods. For later down the line when things are more under control.

Looks good to me!

One thing you can do if he misses starches a lot is switch to sweet potato or riced cauliflower. Add enough butter and it tastes pretty good.
