Iv'e got a deluge right now, i'd share in a heartbeat.
Well for a stray it is pretty darn adorable!

Truth spoken! It is indeed mythical. Gone the way of the unicorn. :(

I am pretty sure my nut job self treats as well. :hmm

Got all my lumber stained with 4 tatering coats.

Tomorrow rain.......maybe.

I heard a hubbub and seen a bunch of poults looking through the shade cloth into another coop. ... between the cloth and a nest box. I was thinking of a chipmunk or similar. I found this

  • 10' away is a turkey hen due to hatch on the 13th.... This is what happens when you let them set their own eggs.

I tried giving it to 3 different broody chickens and none would take it. Hopefully it's mom will when others hatch. ... I am afraid to give it to her now because it will go on a walkabout again
The whole turkey dinner fits in the palm of your hand, so delicious -- I mean Cute!

Needless to say, my significant other has never had chickens. (Hint: You have to work every day, or the chickens die). :th He is still learning. He is the reason Dylan is so spoiled. He Loves to give the treats. He will be trained by the future chicks, just the way he was trained by the dogs to give the treats, and walks, on demand!;)

I know, I just got, "Maybe we will get chickens next year, this is looking like a lot of work, I don't want to work everyday." We have been retired that long, LOL!

I get it not wanting to work everyday.
Sometimes it is needed to "get it done" though.

I hope you don't get chickens pushed out several years. :(
