No idea how she managed this or how long she was stuck. But she's fine. I made sure she got a drink undisturbed to cool off. Then she just started chickening like nothing happened.

Maybe she is not eligible to breed and pass on those IQ genes?

I am glad she is ok.

It wasn't bad thankfully. The net is attached to the fence so it wouldn't blow in or something couldn't just lift in and go in.
I'm not sure if that was helpful in this situation or not. She was sorta hammocked there so would have been easy prey for something flying, but if it the net wasn't attached I wonder if she would have gotten more tangled and possibly strangled herself.
Best case would have been she just fell over the fence and didn't get tangled in the net but the odds of that...

Right!?! Its so odd because generally the D'Uccles seem pretty savvy. They do fly pretty good though. Clayton likes to get on top of the little coop I have in there for shade and crow. That's a good 4' - 4 1/2' jump.

O.k the baby deer in the backyard are cute but I just saw what I can only describe as a venison pony out there lol!
I fed the kids and pretty much did the "if I ignore it then it isn't here" thing.

Girl it needs to be carved in a 10ft tall driveway boulder.

Cappy, honestly boy derps are weird.
Not surprised she beat him up he won't even try to defend himself until he's a year old or older.

She is a lot older than him, but he was in that pen first!
