If you bite your nails, don't have to bother with polish. Plus you wouldn't believe how badly you can scratch yourself up with just no nail - finger tips. I mean it!

Every time I've grown out my nails I hurt something. First time I was trying to clean goopy eyes on a dog, ended up scratching the cornea. Big expense at the vet, an lots of pain for the dog who never forgave me.
I've impaled more than one person w/ mine. IDK how people can live w/ those big long fake nails, or the pointy kind. I keep my flat on the ends usually & have to cut them before they get too long b/c they interfere w/ typing when they get too long.

Bad things happened yesterday. I had fenced in the side of the coop where my rat & mice traps were, but didn't cover it. A baby cardinal fledged into my big rat trap and died a very painful death. I feel horrible about it. I didn't consider that something might fly/ land in there from above, I was only thinking about keeping the baby bunn out. I also caught another rat, but I didn't reset the traps. I'll cover the section before I put the traps back up.

I had not realized how many cookbooks, woodworking books, gardening books, magazines I had saved.
:th
I have pulled roughly 1/2 the woodwork and garden books and 80% of the cookbooks to sell.
Cannot part with the ones that have stuff I still plan to do/make.
I think that puts about 150 in the sell boxes.

I don't keep random stuff I have to dust so not much for that area. :lau
If I have it it is because I really do love it.

Starting on tools next. :tongue Bunch of heavy stuff there.

I really hope the big carp sells fast!

Good luck . My Mom had her own private library I had to get rid of. I wonder if she read all of those books.

I actually don't have ANY just reading books. :hmm
Just how to books. :p

I definitely do not want to burdon my kids with a hoard of odd collections.

I just talked hubs into selling 2 big tool boxes. They aren't giant but they aren't carry around size either.
:celebrate

Henny, it is your right and duty as a mother to burden your kids with odd collectibles. :D

Lol! Fabric mountain!
Seriously if your kids aren't completely flustered at what you've left then you've done them a disservice.
Fabric mountain will actually be a comfort, no kidding lol!
Aside from the gnomes mom's hoards were helpful.
She was a clothes and shoes hoarder, two big closets and a wardrobe crammed full to the point of bending the bars.
Most of that went to the nursing home, a lot of those ladies were made very, very, happy.......and some got a surprise gnome. ;)
Blessed be the children of the piecemakers for they shall inherit the quilts. ;)

:gig

I have quite the fabric hoard. :lau

There is ONE gnome here.

Truth be told I only have it because of a white elephant gift thing at work almost a decade ago. :lau
