I only had Cockers, max.weight 26 lbs. last three made it to 14 but, it's never enough time. Last one passed January '89 and haven't had another since. Can't afford it along with my bills.

THAT is a much more manageable size.

Our oldest dog was 18 when she left us. She was around 40#. A mixed breed that had Staffordshire terrier in there somewhere. We took her in when she was 11. She was in really bad shape. They were calling her Socks. I called her Suki. I did not think she would make it one year but she made it 7 and a few months.

Our youngest loss was Vinnie at age 8. Poor dude.

So sorry, as someone once wrote "Dogs leave paw prints on your heart." Thank goodness they weren't wearing heavy shoes.

Good heavens! She dropped enough feathers to make a pillow!!

Yep, went from slightly ratty to omg! overnight.
Still just dropping feathers with every step, she is stripping crazy fast.

I would be looking for where the roosters are sticking the scratch they are tipping her with.
