I've got a couple who like to chat with me. They'll hover about a foot away at eye level and chatter away. After they say their peace off they go.

Good morning! There is actually a warm rain today WARM lol!
Kind of freaky to feel after cold for so long.

It is a rough trip through town to get here by itty bitty wing. I am pretty much in the middle of town.
I do plant things they should like BUT not worth them risking life and limb to get here.

Now see im in a "grandfathered in" hummer stop, gran and mom fed them for years and they're creatures of habit they'll remember the places that worked for them and show the kids.
The neighbors don't get traffic like I do, they'll zip through but they always head back here.
Im like a tourist trap.

Nice!! It is good to not be freezing.

Where I live we are lucky to see a single grasshopper. So many people around here use bug sprays and weed killers with reckless abandon.
I am going to plant peas again this year.....more for the bees and bumbles than for the humans. OH and my new duckies can eat peas!

I know not everyone here is a Christian, but let me just say that God is good.

DH and I have recently started working the Dave Ramsey baby steps to off debt. Between credit cards, health care debt, a construction loan we took out to help my in-laws sell their house, and owing my parents for the land we built our current houses on, we owe over $50k. This doesn't include our mortgage. Well, I got all fired up and we failed to budget. We paid off a credit card too early in the month and it brought our general spending account down to close to 0. Which wouldn't have been a problem if we were staying home, but we need to travel to my aunt's funeral Thursday and I don't get paid until Friday. We do have an emergency fund of $1000, but I hate touching that if I don't have to. So, we were about $400 short for traveling. Well, yesterday, I opened the mail and found these.

Neither of these checks were expected and they just happened to equal the amount we needed. I legit laugh-cried for a bit. God does take care of us!

Oh I love pea flowers they're so pretty!
The wealthy neighbors spray too, makes zero sense to me they have a yard full of plants and still spray.
They wonder why everything hits my stuff while theirs stays untouched.
