Official Squatch Watchers

Noah is doing good with an aspirin and glucosamine chondroitin. So good he got in my bed last night. It's in an old waterbed frame with drawers, so it's not low. He slept in the cat's spot so she slept on top of me. Which wasn't comfortable for me....
The bad thing was this morning when I heard him get up into the bed and I heard him digging.
Tore the sheet:barnie he has destroyed 2 dog beds and working on a couple more.

Oh no! You said waterbed frame, so you don't use it as an actually waterbed anymore then?

The waterbed had a leak yrs ago. I have a select air, which is what it was called before it became sleep number. Basically a Fancy air mattress. This doesn't have a gauge/number as to air pressure. At the time I bought it a promotion to introduce them was going on, it was about the same price as a regular mattress, a wee bit more now.

So he is digging to make a comfy spot or digging just to dig?

I am using fleece sheets (that I made) on the dog beds. So far they are holding up really well against random digging and puppies launching at high speed. Maybe a fleece cover would help his beds last longer.

Joanns (not sure you are remotely close to one) has fleece on really good sales right now.

I think he is just digging and knows he is not supposed to. I walked in on him digging his bed and he stopped as soon as he seen me. When I heard him on my bed I got out of the living room recliner and heard him jump off the bed. ... acting all guilty...I hadn't yelled at him yet either time.

Oh, I bet they travel the gray water drain!
I forgot about that, duhhhh.🤪
Maybe around a pipe or electrical opening.
That or even the plumbing. Thats where they usually got in my grandparents place.
