On a positive note, I love square foot gardening already 🤣🤣. Once I put the strings up, I started planting. Whereas before I kept trying to layout what goes where and was stressing. Also, please welcome little Maggie to our bunny herd 🥰🥰. I will post her picture as soon as hubs gives it to me. His camera is better so he took them.

Good evening everyone.

Today was a busy day. We had church, birthday party after church and then we needed to run out and get a new phone for my MIL. Her phone battery has been going bad for a while. Her solution was to keep it plugged in at all times, using a battery backup when she couldn’t plug it in to a wired power source. Yesterday, her phone stopped charging even the slightest bit and wouldn’t turn on at all. She decided she wanted to upgrade her phone. We were chatting back and forth about how much memory she needed. We couldn’t look at the stats in her old phone and see how much memory it had. The big difference is, with our phone company, you can get the standard 64gb iPhone at the stores. If you want more gigs, you have to order it. That is the one thing I hate about iPhones is that the amount of memory is fixed. So I took her phone out of the case to see if the serial number was on the back. On pulling it out, I could immediately see why it stopped charging.

The battery is SOOO swollen on this phone that it is almost breaking the screen.

In the end, I found the serial number, and confirmed it was a 64gb model. So we made a trek out to the nearest Cricket store and picked up a new iPhone SE for her. We are going to try sending her old phone (an iPhone 6 I think) for repair and give that to my FIL, he currently is using my old iPhone 4s, which still works, oddly enough. If we can’t get it repaired, we might try getting him a new one as well.

After we were done getting the phone we got dinner at Wendy’s and took it to a park to eat. The boys had a lot of fun on the play equipment. The Milk Drinker wasn’t very happy in the car today. I think he was having flashbacks to Thursday.

I am still using an iPhone 5, works fine. I got a new battery for it a few years ago. It will not update any more and I think that is a plus!
That is a serious battery problem!!!!

Yikes! I wonder if that could have caught fire? I still have my 4SE and it works well and does still update. Over Christmas time my screen went yellow and I thought it broke. Couldnt get a new one and it didnt get worse. After Christmas, mid January?, it suddenly turned white again. 🤔🤔🤔 was I being coerced into buying a new one?🤔🤔🤔

Yes serious battery problem.
Glad the kids had fun
My phone doesn't hold a charge as long as it did, Kyocera. Not a consumer replaceable battery. Also a lot of the apps are saying no longer compatible... like the weather apps :barnie
