On a good note Ive decided to finally dive into an herbalism course. I have practiced it withoug knowing I was since I was a kid. My mom did it too. I didnt know this was an actual thing until a few years ago and trying to weed out the wheat from the chaff has been irritating.
Commomwealthherbs.com / Commonwealth Holistic Herbalism has free lessons to try out to see if its for you. Super helpful! For the full course I may stick with them or go to the Chestnut School of Herbalism. I hate online classes but for obvious reasons as well as time and location it is the best fit for me.
Also, ze child left some Ben & Jerrys dairy free ice cream in the freezer.
The survivor seems to be doing well. He is swimming in his new home with little angel fish and taking frequent breaks 🥰. I am so glad I dcided to put them into a growout tank first. They were supposed to have been in that big tank. Oh! I also found a controller for the heaters that will shut them off if the temp get too high. You bet your bippy Im buying one for every tank.
Sounds like a great class.
Glad fishy is doing well. Sorry about the rest. The controller is a good idea.

hi everybody :frow

Sorry about your fish! I used to keep loaches over a decade ago. I had at least half a dozen 6” long Yo-yo loaches that were nice and fat. I decided to stop keeping fish after I had a tank heater malfunction and it killed all my angel loaches and hill stream loaches because they were at the lower end of the temp range for the loaches I kept. I only had my yo-yos, and one lone loach that I thought was one of my angels but on closer inspection was a different variety. I can’t remember what. It looked like an angel but had a higher temp range which is why it survived. The fish shop I sold them to was amazed at how big my yo-yos were and said they had one customer who would take them for sure.
You'd think they'd make better heaters. Four of these were yo-yos. They are so cute and fun to watch. They got big and rotten though so I put them in this “big boys” tank.
Basel the Bichir seems to have recovered pretty nice. He's still taking breaks but thats okay 😊
I would love to have Hillstream loaches! Have you seen the panda loaches? 🥰
