I hope everyone under this storm has a reasonable day with no losses of power or pets.
 
This morning, Dh asked me if I thought my daughter really saw a rat in the garage. When he went out there this morning, there was a squirrel in the garage. (Remember, he left the garage door partially up, so the rat could leave.) We had a pet squirrel for years, so yes she knows the difference, and yes it was the rat out there last night. Sheesh!

Hiya everyone!

Shoveled, chickens, shoveled, plowed, shoved, chickens and it's still snowing.....wind is picking up too.
Was 24 f and is 18 now WC 5
Think there's about a ft of snow ....oh it rained for a couple hours first, so the creek is over it's bank and slush under the snow.. a few more inches by tomorrow... unless a lake effect plume makes it this far.

Contractor came by last night. Yup. Ice dam. Dam it. He wont touch it but gave me contacts. I will reach out to them soon. Well, sooner rather than later. Need to clean a bit more as new spots are showing on the ceiling in other rooms now.
