Hazy maybe rain this afternoon. Officially we are in a moderate drought.

2 more hens hatched chicks. One in the coop and one in a doghouse in yard. Both are co brooding. Dog house had her 3 out at lock up and they couldn't get back in the igloo dog house. She is an old girl so tame. I could grab the babies, her and put them in the coop.

Got the rest of the carpet up. Found mold along the floor by the window. No even going to bother with the insurance company. Useless. What am i paying for anyway 🙄
Thinking i wanna paint now 🤣. The walls that is. Navy for three walls and a light gray for one wall? Then get an overhead light installed instead of lamps.

Last day of summer school tomorrow :ya
Off all next week. Whatever will i do with myself? 🙄 work on projects probably. Oh! Def water the garden. The tomatoes look terrible. Maybe i'll try to hook up the irrigation system. I just hate cutting stuff and then its all wrong. Thats why i dont sew 🤣

I am so sorry to be the bearer of such heartbreaking news. @Chickassan passed away on the 7th of July.

I started a memorial thread if anyone wants to post their thoughts, condolences or share a happy memory.
Her husband is the one who contacted me. I am letting him know about the thread so he can pop in and read how much she was loved by us all.
