The Excalibur! Very nice! I'm a bit jealous. I'm hoping the one I got works out. It blows air from the bottom rather than the back. Otherwise it seems good. I got a store display being sold at clearance price. I'm hoping I don't regret it. Review are very good though on the model.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004Z915M4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I hope it will be worth it.I want to get going on apples and jerky. They are really talking about food shortages this winter. Good thing we are all so "preppy".

I've always wanted to build a solar dehydrator, I think one of them would be awesome. How do you preserve your harvest?
I want recipes, pics, ideas, etc. Whatever you have, tell me all about it!
Pro Tip - if you are going to be away or asleep when it is time for it to shut off, add extra time (unless you're doing honey, which can burn) That way, things that aren't quite dry keep going and you have lost no time in the process.I couldn't resist. It arrived right after that last post. I already filled 10 trays with refrigerator pickle chips. Set for 4 hours at 158F. They should be dry when we get home.
