If it's not there you can use the Libby pumpkin pie recipe, just substitute cushaw puree.
I only use cinnamon, and I usually add an extra egg.

Adding in I NEVER use the recipes that only use Sweetened Condensed milk. They do NOT come out or taste right.

I do not use the sweet condensed either .. Can use 1/4 sugar and milk for the same effect. JMHO

My pumpkin pie recipe calls for Evaporated Milk. It is the same recipe used by my Mom and my Grandma.
The simple ingredients make the best recipes. My Banana Bread recipe was my Grandma's too. Simple goodness.

We take preference to flavors we grow up with usually. Sometimes they bring back great memories even. I make things like grandma did just to remember her by.

That said, I have made pumpkin by with the canned evaporated milk. That was always the way in recipes we had. But this year I switched to a recipe that used heavy cream and milk instead and I swear it was the best pumpkin pie I've ever made - maybe even the best I've ever eaten, but I really like Baker's Square.

That is so true. My grandmother always added a little almond extract to her frosting just for the scent (she was a cake baker). To this day when I make a cake I do the same. That smell brings me back.

I was going to go through all of my store bought canned goods and arrange them in order of type and expiration date. However, I got side tracked when I saw a mouse in my kitchen, and now I'm tearing through all of the storage on that shelf!
Going through all of my Rubbermaid storage trying to find lids for each one, and proclaiming "WINNER' every time I found one!
One container doesn't have a lid at all, and I'm not joking.... 35 extra lids to throw away!

I can’t even open my plastics cabinet without an avalanche occurring time for me to sort and reorganize too!
