I NEED HELP!!

EDIT: Could this be paint toxicity?! We painted the coop and the only thing I can think of that could’ve gotten them sick other than natural reasons is maybe they got into the paint?

UPDATE #1: Black duckling is inside under the heat lamp, laying completely flat. Don’t think he’ll make it through the night 😢

We are in Wisconsin btw. I got 3 ducklings from tractor supply, a Pekin, a Mallard, and what seems to be a black Cayuga (not too sure). This is my first time dealing with ducks. I noticed the pekin hiding in the grass and wouldn’t move if I approached it. I gave him some sugar water in hopes it would help, couple hours later he’s dead. Now I see this black one exhibiting the same behavior but his eyes almost seem bloody? The mallard duckling is also seeking a bit slow. I bought 6 more Pekins a few weeks after getting the other 3, they’ve been around each other but so far the 6 seem healthy. The original 3 do not. Is this something that could affect my turkeys and chickens?

Did his face feel swollen? From the pictures provided it almost looks like he was bit by a snake or stung by something.

So sorry for your little ones. Hope the remaining ones get better soon.

Not that I could tell. None of our chickens or turkeys are this way. Wasps maybe? But I don’t know if that would cause them to die. The Pekin is dead, and the Cayuga is on the way.

Did your duckling die? I’m sorry you lost your Pekin. Did that one have any sign of trauma or symptoms of illness? I saw where you said you have them in a dog crate is it all wire or the plastic kind? Since the Cayuga had bleeding eyes I was wondering if the chickens were pecking it through the wire slats?
