Yes the Cayuga just passed. He made it through the night but seemed very weak. Keeping an eye out on the others. It was a wire crate so that may be a possibility, it almost seemed infected. The Pekin didn’t have signs of injury, was just slow and lethargic.
Did your duckling die? I’m sorry you lost your Pekin. Did that one have any sign of trauma or symptoms of illness? I saw where you said you have them in a dog crate is it all wire or the plastic kind? Since the Cayuga had bleeding eyes I was wondering if the chickens were pecking it through the wire slats?

Sorry to hear that. ❤

I'm very sorry. Are you supplementing them with any niacin ? what feed are you using? are you still using heat for them? When you mean paint was it dry when you put them in and good an aired out.

Yes but there was a paint bucket left out. I think it might be some sort of respiratory disease, just lost another one this morning. Eyes intact but blood coming out around them.

@casportpony have you ever heard of a respiratory illness causing blood to come out from around the eyes of a duckling? Or any other disease.
Never heard of anything like this. Are you going to send on for Necropsy? Is this one that just died from the 3 you got first? I’m very sorry you lost them.
I’d like to, right now I’m struggling to find a vet that will even see them.
