I bit the bullet and ordered a Sportsman. Gonna need the space for the emu eggs. I foresee getting myself in trouble with the egg capacity, lol

On the emu egg front, no more yet. That's not too surprising though because it can take up to five days between eggs even when they're laying regularly, and new layers are often irregular to start.

Not interested in letting the dad go broody? Actually... a broody emu sounds worse then a broody muscovy. It seems the sweeter they are the more of a dragon they become when they have kids

Nope, he doesn't get to hatch. I wouldn't like to take the chicks from him, and the alternative is letting him raise them for about a year. A year of protective emu dad...who has already kicked me once.
